Back to NIE!

Wow...today went back to NIE..finally..after 11 wks outside...
Felt the distance again..felt the crowded bus queue in Jurong Point...haha
But most of all...can meet back all my NIE friends...so happy...
So many stories to share!
Yakked away during physics lecture...poor Dr Ho...
Asked us to discuss how to help students about learning...
Instead, we gossipped about students...haha
Then during lunch, sat with old friends... mat, simin, wendy, huifen, june, xinyi, qinning, yiyuan and me... more yakking... how we play with students..life in our school...and whatever that has happened for the last 11 weeks...
Next come the most boring lesson in my whole one yr in NIE....that is, civics and moral education (CME!) 1.30-5pm..wah..super long...super dry..wanna doze off liao... Frankly speaking, MOE shouldnt ask schools to conduct CME lessons specially to teach CME...students most likely won't listen... Instead, CME could be taught in everyday lessons, anytime, any place... I once heard a good teacher say, "I don't teach students math, physics. I teach them life skills, how to be better people. Math and physics is just a platform where I teach them." I agree with this statement!
Just surfed my students' blog... realized that 45 % of my students in a class passed maths ... okay lar... not bad...judging from the time they complained that the exam was really a killer... One more day to their freedom..so happy for them!
