Fruitful Saturday

Today had a fruitful saturday.
Morning, went to church and did some flower wrapping for mother's day celebration the next day. Wow... so happening, wrapping up 300 flowers... really surprised to see yudan, wanni, and crystal helping out despite their exams the following week. But yudan more like playing water ... supposed to soak water in cotton...but in the end splash water..haha...but in the end helped a lot. Sorry that I couldn't help them to the end...coz need to rush down to harbour front for lunch with family.
Noon, went down for lunch with family... parents and bro going overseas for some time... going to miss them for some days...
After that went down to Labrador Park...first time going there... the historical sites in the hill is nice...but the sea view at the coast is even nicer... overheard some ang moh's liking the place too... only bad thing is need to walk 1 km from the main road at telok blangah into the park...but thank God managed to catch a bus going out of the park.
Then went down to tanglin halt to settle some personal admin, before hoping to jurong IMM for dinner.
Went home at night, when i managed to catch election live 2006... the party in white won big time again ... but glad that this time round, the oppositions are stronger and got more votes as compared to the 2001 elections ... never get to vote this time round due to walkover... hopefully can vote 5 years from now? hmmm...
Surfed web, managed to read some blog from ex-students ... really am grateful for a chance to impact a bit of their lives for the last 10 weeks, but wanna say that their journey ahead is still long. Their attitude to meet and overcome challenges ahead plays a greater role in their success then any teachers that may come and help them.
"It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude."
Continue to press on.
