Last day of practicum

Today is the last day of practicum.. I will like to take this opportunity to thank the following people:
My Principal and Vice-principal for taking good care of us.
All teaching and non-teaching staffs for making our stay in school memorable and wonderful
My CTs, Mr Lee, Mr Koh, Mr Sim...My sifu...really learn a lot from them, and also help me a lot
My NIE supervisor, Dr Tan. Really nice to us
My fellow NIE friends to that school, Mr Ser, Mr Wong, Ms Cai and Ms Lee.. thx for suffering and enjoying with me for the past 10 weeks.
Last but not least, the 72 students that I have taught... as one student puts it, my "Pioneer Batch" of students... Thanks for making life wonderful for me...will miss you guys ... but at the same time scared that they will make me puke more blood if God wants me to teach them back next semester ... haha

Anyway, time flies so fast. Today had a wonderful time in school... took more photos... but kanna chased out of school by 1 pm coz the government want to use it for some election thingy the next day. Anyway, a super senior teacher from my school treated me and a few others to lunch at Raffles Town Club. Really happy to eat with them. After that, he fetched me to Newton MRT to take bus.

It was this time that I found really how coincidental God had been bringing me. I started life in my school at Newton some 12 weeks ago, when my school called me to go Newton so as to take a bus with them to Turf City (they had some event then) on a Friday morning... now 12 weeks later, on a friday afternoon, I ended up at Newton MRT once again. so funny.

Anyway, went down to Cityhall to meet Gabriel...glad he was still the same. Then stayed in national library for 2 hours before meeting up with Eugene, Jasper, Chongjie, Wangfei for dinner at Breeks'. Just got to know that the management of Breeks and Seoul Garden is the same...haha..so funny...we represent 4 types of teachers. I represent teachers that have finished NIE training as well as practicum. Chongjie represent teachers that have almost finished NIE training but not practicum. Eugene and Jasper represent teachers that have not yet gone for NIE training and practicum. Wang Fei represent those tertiary educators... now marking like crazy coz the exams for NUS just finished. Can't spend more time with them because of church.

I'm really glad to be posted to my school. In fact as I recalled, there are some things that I've learnt from my school:
(1) Blogging, thanks to my students who tutor me
(2) Roller blading, thanks to some course for teachers.
(3) Voice projection: Esp when I scream at students.
(4) Kaypoh-ing...so many juicy news in school
(5) Communication skills ... thanks so much for my CTs
(6) Suaning skills ... Thanks to Mr Krishnan, my neighbour in staff room
(7) Healthy living ... for drinking $1 fruit juice and 50 cent milo everyday
(8) Mega memory ... memorizing names and faces of students, as well as chasing after those who hasn't submit homework

Really fruitful time in my school :)
