Special Good Friday

Yesterday and today are one of the most unique Good Friday celebration I had for years.

Yesterday night, went for a chalet at changi for bible study retreat...okie...it was supposed to be 2 days 2 nights...but i went only 1 night and 1 day. But really thank God for the retreat... was very good... first night, worship, then weilong shared about direction for the camp, then it's like old times...played games at 12 am..haha..super funny! yeah lor... played some bear and hunter game...funny guessing who the bear is... like all the acting skills so zai...kevin sound so logical..but always made wrong decisions.... people sounded very corny too..haha...but glad to catch up with so many good old friends...mark, weilong, kevin, jeffrey, matthew, soojin, vanessa, davina, jiaying, diana, liling, stanley, lawrence, raymond, and also some new friends such as weicheng.

Time with old friends are so fun... lots of sharing. at 2 am, matthew, jeffrey, kevin, mark and i went to changi village to grab some food...wah...not a very nice place to go..i discovered..super sleazy...nevertheless, at the coffeeshop, we chatted and shared with problems we face in church... apparently all 5 of us, in one way or another, is involved in helping the youths in our church... really glad to learn so much from them in how to develop youths...

Came back to chalet around 4+ am...very tired..tried to sleep, but air con too cold...so woke up at 7 am...did Quiet time...really refreshed...the scenery by the beach is really amazing... felt so refreshed...

Then saw matthew with the guitar...so started to sing praise and worship songs... in the end..more than 20 songs came out..really so so so wonderful praising in the morning

Then have some food prepared by Vanessa, Jiaying, Davina, Weilong...rested before attended worship and a time of sharing by Kok Hiang.... though i have to leave early but feel so so refreshed...

Then went back home...sleep for 4 hrs..haha..serve me right for not sleeping the night before...

In the evening, went to Isaac and Lydia's home...super cozy..wow...the house really nice..the food is nice...somemore treat us to ice-cream..haha...but feel that God really blesses them... as usual the first thing gregory noticed about the house is the PS2 set that Isaac has...wah...kids are juz kids ah..but really thank God for the fellowship in sharing.

At night, went to suntec to catch up with secondary school friends... glad to see zijie, kexiu, weiming, liangmeng and kahyong, keesiang after 6 mths of not seeing each other..glad that they are doing well with their job...haha..then drink coffee with zijie and kexiu, when kexiu shared about law (he's a lawyer) and all the legal terms and stuffs..really know more about the singpapore law system..so fun...
