Maudy Thursday
Yeah...today became public enemy no 1 for one of my classes...complained that my math test too difficult ... sighz ... lots of complaints...haha..some people say that test so difficult how to pass? some say no mood to study... wah... reminds me that some 10 yrs ago, I'm like them..always hoping teachers to set easy test....got almost full marks then happy like mad..want to fail then complain complain complain... i think it is human nature...
but in retrospect... i realize why teachers set difficult papers, and i only realise after I passed my O levels... every type of training is difficult... sports people train vigorous courses to obtain their medal... though times are difficult...they still train hard..to set their eyes on the finishing line... I may not like the kind of training now...but in retrospect..i feel that I will never be able to stretch to my potential without these trainings...
students can complain all they want ... furthermore many didn't even do their homework regularly and when asked to come to see teachers for help ... they would choose to play instead... can be so unfair to teachers when they claim they didn't learn ... but it's our duty, our job...suffer in silence..haha.. Nevertheless...i can see a number of my students having very positive attitudes ... attitudes to learn... attitudes to try to their fullest... and for that i applaud them. They are My joy in my teaching career.
Anyway, glad that today is the day before Good Friday... so happy! haha... at least, now I begin to see the value of public holidays once again! Haha...in this season, Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ... really reminds me of something that i shared with to many people during my university days. It's simply known as the 4 spiritual laws..
1. Law 1: God loves you and offers a wonderful plan in your life.
2. Law 2: Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore He cannot know and experience God's love and plan for His life.
3. Law 3: Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life
Jesus demonstrated His love when he died in our place when we were yet sinners.
But he rose from the dead on the third day.
4. Law 4: We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives
Simple 4 laws, but it sums up the main points of why Chrstians celebrate Good Friday....
