Back from one month break
Yup...finally back to blogging, with rest for exactly one month... First post of the year 2008.
I've been blogging for almost 2 years, ... it has always been there every since I started teaching. Hopefully it will always continue, cos it is a good form to keep track of me, whether is the passion of teaching and of the students still there inside me, or have them grow dimmer by the day. Also, a good opportunity of former students to see if I'm still around...haha.
Many times, we need to pause and ponder a while of what has been done. In modern times, it's called reflection. In the Psalms of the bible, the word is called "Selah", a good pause. We live in an instant world, where everything seems so rush...we seem to be swept by events after events... but when we reach a stage where we suddenly feel like we cannot go on, how often have we become agitated and restless? But many times in life, we have missed the final parts of life as we rushed... many times....we have missed something important, and that it is only when we look back, that we realize what it is...
Yes, that is partially why I stop to blog for January. Comparing time to blog as that to spend time with my wife, I find the latter more important (not that the former isn't important) Prioritize what we hope to have in life, and all things else will follow.
Some updates about my life: The year started great, and I'm teaching 3 outstanding classes, 205, 206, 207, this year, not to mention another elective with great students as well. Stuck in PSL (They are great as well), in a good school (though grumbling at times, I still tell my principal that I would hope to stay on for another 2 years... wise decision?). Busy with lots of committees and projects. That's about my work life. Of course life is tougher, now that my school has matured and is going onto a new phase.
Privately speaking, happy. What can a man ask more after he has gotten a virtuous and beautiful wife? (at least in his own eyes, haha). Shouldn't disclose more...as well...blogs arent that private anyway...
Looking forward to a great new year, and a wonderful Chinese new year too!
A blessed New Year of 2008 to everyone, and Happy Chinese New Year!
