Exams marking

It feels so good to start marking exam scripts! Finally can move ahead...woohoo!!!

The feel of marking scripts is good... as I mark the papers, I can categorize students into 4 main categories:

1) The weak and lazy type: practically their answers are crappy ... trying to smoke their way through, yet no substance. Thank God, for my school, such students are not many to deal with. Advice to them: Either befriend a super smart super caring classmate to give u private tuition, or don't take the module. Since the latter doesnt apply, my suggestion is the former. Of course, approaching your friendly teacher helps at times, but you need to take more initiative.

2) The super-hardworking, but not so smart type: Categorized by super neat handwriting (compensate confidence level by super presentation). Usually get the easier, straight forward questions correct, but leave blanks for harder questions. Usually the ones with great stress, but with adequate management, can go far ... Cont to work hard, yet give yourself breaks at times. 休息是为了走更长的路。

3) The lazy but smart students. Answers are categorized by the ability to do the super difficult questions, but trip and fall on the easier ones (what you expect, lack of practice mah!) Please, work harder... with your talents and abilities, you can achieve something greater instead of just level-ups in maple story.

4) The super smart and hardworking students... my question.... why take the module instead of acceleration? Your existence in the course is mainly to boost up class CAP... of course there are a number of such students who are kind and help their classmates to better understand the module... really appreciate their kind acts...

Now back to marking...
