Updates thus far

Wow...havent be updating last week...haha....laptop was sent for repair...and still is now....so bobian ... borrowing my brother's laptop for a while for blogging purposes ...

Anyway... last week was an emotional ride for me ... one where i faced a number of challenges... but I thank God that in the midst of crisis and difficulties, it is so important that there are people who stand by your side ... especially support from our close ones...thank God for all that they have done.

On the lighter side ... there were some joyful things that happened for the last few day.

Thursday: for Math class, my HOD came to observe my students and me. really happy to see my students really well behaved and inquisitive ....the joy of my teaching...keep up the good work!

Friday: Listened to some police talk... really interesting to me and students... talks to us about piracy, downloading mp3, copyright etc.... really relates to us about the grey areas in life.

today was quite an eventful day for me....

Morning: cool day...went to school at 8 am...teach some primary school kids math...so cute..haha... really enjoying teaching them...really enthu and inquisitive.... except that teaching a group of 50 students together is really tiring...

After that, attended a sunday school teacher course run by some taiwanese pastor...she and her team is good, really helps to build up little children ... some of the concepts taught are really good and helpful...the only thing sad was that my level of chinese and the that of the taiwanese children;'s are poles apart...makes me ashamed to say that i took great trouble to understand them.

Evening: went to see if my laptop has been finished repairing....so sad to sa ...no =( ... but bought a nice haversack for my field trip in 2 weeks time...:)

Went to marina square for dinner..before passing to padang..happening...haha...showing MI 3 and X-men 3 for the masses for free! haha...so many ppl watching...say a thousand at least...
