Going for course

Today had an eventful day in school.

Lesson for first period ... lesson was average...then went back to staff room..where we rushed packing stuffs for the department...then it was lesson again...then went back and sorted more stuffs for the department... at last everything was done...so that we do not need to stay back till 8 or 9 pm today.

Lunch time...ate with a few colleagues, haha. One colleague said, "Wow, Samuel, you really sounded like Chuxian (a mutual friend, also my good honours classmate) when you talk. No wonder birds of the same kind flock together!" Haha..i paused and began to wonder...really sounded so true... even my students...those who form cliques together are usually so similar.. in terms of interests, characteristics...and even looks...haha. Anyway miss my honours days... studying, playing daidi, talking crap with chuxian, terence, cheechong, derek, tongbeng, pengjie and later with chongjie, wangfei, kayjin and jasper... haha.. anyway it's no coindence many of them ended up as teachers (tong beng, join us lar..haha)

In the afternoon..rushed down to another secondary school on a course on Reflection...as teachers..we must learn to reflect. As it is important for us to look into mirror so as for us to know our flaws.. so we must reflect upon ourselves to know ourselves better. Course is rather interesting, but I find getting to talk to my old friends more interesting! haha. Glad to catch up with Jaron, Bryan and Desmond. Desmond was good enough to give a ride for me to somewhere near to my home after the course. Anyway was surprised that my ex-CCA head of my alma mater was now the VP of the secondary school! haha. So long never see him liao, though i dont miss him.. banning soccer in my school for fear that we became smelly when we return to class for lessons.

In the evening, back home, some of the students in my form class msned me regarding events happening in school... haha.. being a student is so nice and fun..the joy, the pains etc... hope that they are able to continue learn life skills through their years in our school.
