When you are feeling down, what do you do?

Was feeling quite down lately... it's not as though i was angry nor upset, just moody and down. I think all of us have such experiences in one point of time or the other. One colleague even remarked, "Aiyoh, you haven't even reeached 40s...how to feel down?"

I guess that's part of life... upon reflection, i think the reasons may be as follows...
1) Lately, there's more work... marking of scripts, keying of marks ...setting of papers, printing of notes, bringing students for competitions, conducting saturday lessons, preparing for cell, church stuffs... everything seems to be coming all at one go... resulting in level of stress.
2) Health not being good these 2 days...feeling cold sometimes (fever, or just the weather) and also stomache being upset...
3) Have some conflicts with a good friend of mine, which results in a little unhappiness. Thank God it has been resolved. Almost have another conflict with another colleague of mine... but feelings did not turn bad.

Nevertheless I thank God for His grace throughout.
1) Colleagues and friends to cheer me up. In fact I'm really happy in my present school. The staff culture is good...friendly, cheerful and jokes a lot... In fact, even now when I am typing this blog, another colleague is blessing me with this bible verse,

"1Ti 4:12 Don't let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith, and purity. "

2) Students being well behaved. In fact, today was my first time teaching a group of Sec three students (100 of them) in a lecture theatre. I'm glad almost all of them are attentive and none making disruptive noises.

3) Music... I was keeping my blog page opened and turning up the volume of my laptop in the staff room... not to see my entries, but just to listen the music...in fact i must have listened to it more than 50 times over? As another colleague commented, "The music, how come so down? You really are moody right?" Yup, he is right, I'm really moody then. But the music has really soothing effects. The music is a medley comprising of 2 songs.

The first part, "People need the Lord"...indeed, it is really upset to find tons of people working aimlessly in life... will they find true meaning in life?
The second part, "In Chirst alone" expresses one's feeling of dependence of Him who truly cares. Indeed, it is only true Him that my spirits can be uplifted. And it really has.
