First day of term 4
Today marks the first day of term 4, Sep 11 2006 Haha... realised the significance of the date Sep 11, with the themes of terrorism and security in mind, but i guess that with respect to a teacher, nothing beats more than the stress workload of a new term.
Anyway, droning what I had done today: First period: Took over class from one of my colleague, quite last minute, and all their math notes were still in print...glad some teaching were done..students were so excited (eg talkative)..could felt so much catching up to do. Then did some admin: tie loose ends for the trip to pahang...reorganized stuff...realized lots of dealines to meet (haha...those things that were informed to us before the one week break, but things were conveniently shelved aside), and also some emails and stuffs to reply. Then got most of my notes printed (especially before my next math class)..really rushed... After that, first math lesson with one of my classes... they were extremely well behaved, despite just being after lunch. Quite Unusual for this class on monday (right guys?) ... haha..anyway they shared that they had a couple of hours of free time beforehand... so they played basketball and had their fun already before my lesson. So now they can be more attentive... hmmm...so does that mean that we should have fun before serious lessons? Maybe that will help promote healthy lifestyle and in their learning. haha. Back to staffroom... don't feel like working..so go about KLKK and gossip..haha...was recalling with one of my colleagues a poem by Yue Fei.

Thanks to Yuheng for sorting and compiling photos of the Pahang Trip from the school's camera, and for passing the CD to me today. Below are 2 of the best shots in the collection.
Anyway, the trip really garners good memories among the staff (dunno how students feel too... too little feedback)...hopefully more of such trips can be organized in future.
