Happy Teachers' Day

Happy Teacher's Day!

Today was really meaningful for me ... my first teacher's day celebration as a full-fledged teacher. So joyful...not as much as the gifts..but the thoughts of students.. simple gifts...but very thoughtful. Many thanks to my students...there are a number of students who drop the gifts at my pigeon hole, many thanks to them too. Really appreciate them!

The gifts from my students. first teacher's day gifts. really touched.
For the teacher's day concert, really appreciate the students for putting in a good effort to perform for the teachers. The dance, choir, the songs (one even composed by students) , class performances, orchestra, games, solo performances are well thought of. many thanks to the councillors and student body.

Then in the evening, went to expo for teacher's day rally speech by our PM Lee. 7000 teachers attended...first time seeing so many teachers at one place! glad to meet up with teachers from my practicum school, such as Mr Sim, Mr Leonard an Ms Chan. Glad to catch up with them.

Another surprise is that my alma maters (primary and secondary schools) as well as the school that i am teaching presently is mentioned by PM Lee. anyway, squeezed my way out of expo to the mrt when going home.

Happy teacher's day!

P.S. will be away in some remote rainforest in m'sia for the next few days... will miss my blog...
