Pains of National Service

Tonight attended yet another wedding..this time a banquet...

With me on the same table was a good friend, jeremy... still serving his national service...

Ah..the apprehension he felt today...his anxiety... ah was similar that i felt years ago when i was still serving NS...

time ticked by as the dinner courses were slowly served...

time ticked by as book-in timing seem nearer to nearer...

"Will I be able to eat one more dish? Can I make it back before the book in timing?"

Ah.... the pains of National Service...the pains of attending a wedding dinner on Sunday night...
