Superman Returns
Watched Superman returns today.... as what the critics show... plot quite boring, and it's a bit too long ... more of a tribute to the old superman shows (where superman continue to gek sei (act handsome), even when he was exposed to Kryptonite).

However, what touched upon my heart is the statement from Superman's supposedly deceased father, Jo-el. "... For this, I sent down my only son, to the planet earth, to show them the light." Wow, very messiaic ... about someone being the saviour of mankind. Even when Superman flew Lois Lane up into the sky, and asked, "What did you listen?" Lois replied, "Nothing." Superman continued, "To you, nothing...but to me, millions of people asking for a saviour."
Wow, and superman continued to do his heroics.
Indeed, I too can feel this world needs a saviour. Everyday, millions of people crying for help, be it fighting against illnesses, depression, poverty, wars, natural disasters, sins. Superman, at most, can only do a little, yet brought hope to many in metropolis ... but God has gave us His only son, Jesus, that thru him, we can be saved and have hope of eternal happiness. Don't you agree?
