良师益友难寻

Today was a very bad day for one of my classes... some students were in caught in the act for doing something not pleasant in school. As a result, the whole class was asked to write statements coz although they knew the incident, they never report to the school. Then instead of realizing that the act itself was no good, some of the students began to accuse of others of sabo-ing them by reporting it to the authorities. An underlying current of dissent and distrust was built up.

Just want to add on to my 2 cents worth regarding this issue:

If there is REALLY this someone who "sabo-ed" the wrong-doers, I really want to applaud him/her for his/her courage to speak up, for reasons below:
(1) He or she doesn't stand to gain at all in the incident! Teachers are not going to praise him/her for being the teachers pet. In fact, he/she knows that he/she would risk incurring the wrath of others, yet he/she chose to do it. I applaud his/her courage to stand for what is right.
(2) He/she knows the severity of the problem. The incident was really bad. He/she felt that the best way to help his/her friend might be only be through the proper channel of authorities. True friends are those who go all out to help his/her friends, even when sometimes the decisions might be unpopular. 苦口良药。I applaud his/her love for his/her friends.

However, I personally believe no one in the class saboed them, and that it's juz plain silliness that students choose to do the wrong act, especially in school. The act itself is already silly enuff.. in school...aiyoh...how big can the school be? Any other students, any school workers, any teachers, any visitors can easily notify things that are rather unusual....

Hopefully this incident will come to a conclusion. Grow up lar, kids! I'm sure all of them will become more mature people in time to come.

  • Learn to forgive and forget is the best la, it's definately too late to talk about this now, there is no use about who sabotaged who. It has come into a conclusion of who is involved and who is not, for the person who sabotaged, i believe in karma and i believe you will suffer something worse. It's ok that other friends and me are punished, i really do not bother much about the person who sabotage, yes. He/She might get credit, but he/she never spare a thought for every others in the class. Now everyone in the class is going to get punished, the reason: not reporting to the rightful authorities, and for this, they checked the CCTV and everything about the case and report turned out to be true. I do hope that my 3 friends can quit smoking, it's bad for health and waste of money, worse of all, punishments are heavy. I won't stop them from smoking, they are my friends and they need to relieve stress you guys see, it's something that they could only do to do to relieve stress. For my punishment, it's still undecided, but it's definately not going to be somthing nice.
Allow bygones to be bygones, i believe in karma, and i am very sorry to those who would be dealt with because of me and my friends, i apologise for them to everyone.
I am also very sorry to Ms Chin Ann Ann, whom i might as well make an apology right now in here, Ms Chin, i am sorry, i dissapointed you, i knew that you have high hopes on me, i am very sorry and i promise it would never happen again. As for those who are sorry for writing names in your statement, you are not doing anything wrong, you are helping the school too. Don't be angry or upset with anyone for anything and everything. Need a drinking partner can always call me, but you pay for it la... haha...
Type so much.. hand pain nia.. And 1 more thing i need to clarify, i am involved in this incident, but I DO NOT SMOKE, DON'T BELIEVE? ASK THE SMOKERS.

Peace out.Chill out.Anything can go beach or park walk walk... if bo liao, can add comments here, we make this a small chat cafe also can.

  • It's nice to hear students apologizing to Ms Chin..I feel that she really loves you all as her students. Try to give her a card or something... Most importantly, learn from mistakes and move on...
