Teacher's Day @ Birdpark

Had a wonderful time today. Teacher's Day celebration at Birdpark! Once a lifetime experience...haha...though i still find having in celebrations in school being more practical.

Anyway..this is the 2nd teachers' day celebration I have as a teacher in my present school...sad to say, this is also a farewell lunch to our beloved principal, prof lai. Knew him ever since my uni days at 2000 ... really sad that he's leaving us... but..life must go on...

12 nn ... staff lunch at Birdpark... nice food... many thanks to staff welfare committee...very fun...played word search and sudoku...haha... got lucky draw, performances...so cool.

2.30pm...went to amphitheatre... Thank you students for giving gifts... A BIG THANK YOU for all of you... though it doesnt mean u can stop handing in assignments, talk randomly in class and drink coke in class okay? haha

2.45pm... see bird show...

3.30pm... celebration started...thank you Student Leaders for coming up and organizing such a wonderful celebration..xinkunimenle!

5.30pm...go ang mo kio for prayer group, before going home and unwrap the presents. I hate unwrapping presents...especially when there are thank you messages on the wrappers. aha...thanks a lot, students. really appreciate them a lot!
