Meeting with math friends

Today, met my first case when a student cried. She was sad coz her pet was missing for a day. Really did not know what to do then, coz there was not much i could help if she remained sad. Juz prayed together with her (as she is a Christian as well). May God help her and comfort her as well.

In the evening, went to meet up with Eugene, Chongjie, Kayjin at the esplanade. Wang Fei wanted to join, but could not wait for a bus (to think SBS is going to revamp the service!) so in the end, he forgo the meeting. Sad Faizal, Jasper and KCM can't join us too...

Anyway had a good time. Found out that Kayjin will be going scotland for his pHD...all the best for his life down there... indeed once we are working...the things we said changed. 2 yrs back, we were still talking about fields, rings, groups, complex numbers etc.... now it is teaching, financial planning, and life of other friends....wah..time flies.... all the best for Eugene and the new batch of NIE trainees, as well as Chongjie and his batch of practicum trainees....

Busy with work...life must go on...
