My defence
actually dun intend to write my blog today... quite nuah... but read a former student's blog, which suggests that I am conservative when advising others not to watch the controversial da vinci's code.
Firstly, the past 26 years of my life trusting in Jesus can attest for itself where my heart and soul lie. I have been through many thoughts and testings and people who have known me understand where my conviction lies.
Secondly, I've heard of stories of my friends' faith shaken because of many things... such as the 911 incidents, sufferings, purpose in life and many other issues. I have heard of people starting to doubt the reality of Christ because of the code. I take every chance to persuade people, especially Christian youths, not to watch the show or read the book. Whatever their decisions are up to theirselves, but remember what Jesus said, "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord Thy God." Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial.
The choice is up to the individual, but as for me, I will do what I know is good.
