Last week of june holidays

Started full scale work on Monday. busy making arrangements. last week of holidays seem to be like the first week on school time.

Afternoon, got quite tired of work. Went to IMM for some shopping, followed by going to JE to catch a movie. Yes, the last movie during the holidays ... Fantastic 4!

It's an okay show. But the part on Galactus is really too rush. The supposedly all powerful Galactus, defeated by his own herald? haha... so different from the comics. But of course, a more elaboration on Galactus will take up more time in filming, making it draggy. Oh well...

Back in momentum in school. Today managed to see lots of teachers at work. Lost in work as well. One thing i felt disappointed in many of students nowadays is the lack of responsibility that they have. Many teachers can identify that collecting consent forms can be tedious as there will be always students who will not bring or let their parents sign them. Furthermore, some have agreed helping out in certain events, but do not turn up last minute. If they do not practice personal responsibility now, how will they be responsible to be in charge of greater things, to become good leaders of tomorrow??

Anyway left school around 5pm. Went down to somerset. Thanks Wilber, for organizing an outing with him, Guohao, Peitong, Barnabas. Wow time flies. We used to talk about tutorials, playing etc during our uni days...but now, we talk about working life (haha all of us teachers..so can relate), furthering our studies, reservists, and also marriages. Hmm, Wilber, welcome to NIE, to the start of your teaching career! So went to cineleisure pasta mania for dinner, followed by centrepoint mcCafe, where i generously treated them to ice-cream.

School holidays ending soon. Must treasure whatever time we have left in the holidays :)
