The story of Good Friday

Tomorrow is what the world calls Good Friday -- The day that Jesus was crucified.
Well, I personally don't believe in it ... I mean, they used an English calendar (Gregorian) to determine Good Friday. Whereas we know that the actual Good Friday should rightfully follow the Jewish calendar.
Anyway, it's a good time to remember the death of Jesus, with Christians around the world.
Crucifixion, Jesus dying on the cross, is the fundamental belief of Christianity. Without the death and ressurrection of Christ, Christianity will be in vain.
I believe in a God. A just and righteous God, yet loving and gentle.
Some might wonder, is there a God? Why can't we see Him?
My answer is that though i can't see Him, I can see all his works, when I look at the mountains and the seas, the vast array of stars as well as every created thing, from the intricate design of cells to the infiniteness of space.
More importantly, without God, where is the rightful benchmark of morality? Who, or what, can tell you right from wrong?
Anyway, I believe in a God, who is just and righteous, yet loving and gentle.
So God created man and woman in a garden. He loves to have fellowship man and woman.
However, out of His love, he gave them the free will. In their free will, man and woman ate the forbidden fruit.
Okay, to cut things short, humans became sinful.
What is sin? Things that are bad, things that harm people.
What is sin? Lying is sin. Who didn't lie before?
What is sin? Unforgiveness is sin. Knowing what is right, and yet didn't do it, that is sin.
The problem is: the wages of sin is death.
In short, if humans continue to sin, they will go to hell.
A paradox occurs. God, being loving, wants us to go to heaven.
God, being just, have to send us to hell because of our sin.
Who can redeem us for our sins? Who can pay for us our debts?
Not other people. All of us are debtors. Coz all of us sin. Who then can redeem us?
Jesus Christ: God's answer to man's problem.
He knew no sin. Walked life's journey so as to show us a way of sinless path.
Yet, he Himself chose to bear the burdens of our sins.
He was ridiculed, beaten, tortured, tormented, framed, spit at, slapped at, abandoned at the cross.
He need to die for the sins of the people, For You and I. He wanted to repay our debts.
Imagine, the God who created us all chose to suffer for us all. How Great is that love!
Through his death, we knew that we have been redeemed from hell. The question: Do we choose to believe that Jesus has paid for our sins, or do we choose not to believe? God still gives us the freewill to choose, just like what he had given man and woman to choose at the garden. However, one choice leads us to be close to Him, one choice leads us to be away from Him.
Whatever your choice, I hope that all my loved ones have a blessed weekend.
