Off in lieu for deepavali

Today was a free day for me... no school..yeah! Strangely though, coz most schools still operate as normal for today, yet my school decides to give us a holiday (yeah... the school is so good!)

As such, i have the opportunity to enjoy the late morning scene, where primary school children carried their heavy bags walking to school with their mother (or maids) for their afternoon lessons. For the grocery and fruit stalls, I get to see aunties bargaining food items from shop owners. At shopping centres, I see small groups of secondary and JC students gathering and chatting in Macdonald's and KFCs.

For myself too, I got the chance to mark test scripts while enjoying a cup of sprite in macdonald's... what an enjoyment!
